Mahnaz Iqbal Yousafzai, defended her PhD Thesis "Role of education in women empowerment in newly merged districts of Khyber pakhtunkhwa" Department of education, Abdul Wali khan university Mardan, under the supervision of Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Irshadullah and co-supervisor Dr. Muhammad idrees, chairman of education department. Mis Mahnaz Iqbal Yousafzai thesis was evaluated from top five hundred QS ranking universities. In her defense Prof. Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Inamullah (Director, IER, University of Peshawar) and Dr. Wilayat Bibi (Associate Professor, Department of Education, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar) have served as external examiners.
